Willie Hubert Wingfield was reported missing by his girlfriend after he didn’t show up at her home when he was scheduled to. Her concern was heightened by his medical conditions: dementia and diabetes.
Mr. Wingfield was found in Vermilion, Louisiana in safe condition.
Silver Alert Success Story: 77-year-old man found in Mexico

On June 28, 2012, a Silver Alert was issued for 77-year-old Pedro Lujan. Lujan went missing in El Paso, Texas and was later found safe in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

An elderly man who went missing last week was reunited with his family Tuesday morning.
Pedro Lujan, 77, was found in Ciudad Juarez at a hospital, according to his family.
Lujan was last seen Thursday boarding a Sun Metro bus in west El Paso.
A Silver Alert was issued for Lujan due to his health.
Silver Alert Success Story: 78-year old Texas woman found in Oklahoma
On June 20, 2012, a Silver Alert was issued for 78-year-old Esperanza Galvan. Galvan went missing in Aledo, Texas and was later found safe 280 miles away in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

A silver alert, issued by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office for 78-year-old Esperanza Galvan, has been cleared.
Galvan was found moments ago in Northeastern Oklahoma by a Good Samaritan. Payne County Sheriff’s Office Dispatcher’s reported Galvan was found after she ran out of fuel in her Geo Tracker.
Galvan was found on Highway 51 and Roper’s Lane outside of Stillwater, Okla. At around 5:47 p.m.
