Silver Alert Success Story: 78-year old went missing in Indiana, found in Tennessee
On July 16, 2010, a Silver Alert was issued for 78-year-old Lloyd Estep. Estep went missing in Owensville, Indiana, and was later found alive almost 400 miles away in Jefferson County, Tennessee.

A silver alert has been canceled for 78-year-old Lloyd Estep after he was found in Jefferson County, Tenn.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol found Estep’s 1991 Toyota pickup westbound on Interstate 40 at the 42 mile mark in Jefferson County, said Trooper Doug Francis of the Indiana State Police Evansville Post.
Estep was later found walking along the interstate.
Estep left 10290 W. SR 165 in Owensville, Ind., at 10 a.m. Friday, according to Indiana State Police. Estep is from Elizabethon.
