Kansas: Target of Silver Alert found in Lawrence
A Silver Alert issued for Helga Wycoff of Lawrence, Kansas has concluded successfully.

A Silver Alert was canceled Sunday evening minutes after it was issued when a missing Lawrence woman was located.
The Lawrence Kansas Police Department had issued a Silver Alert for Doris “Helga” Wycoff, 70, after she left her son’s Lawrence home in her car. She left behind her purse, wallet and medication.
The alert was called off just minutes after it was issued, according to Lawrence police Sgt. Kirk Fultz.
Wycoff has displayed dementia and Alzheimer’s disease symptoms, the police department said.
The Kansas Silver Alert provides guidance to law enforcement and media outlets for alerting the public when an at-risk adult is reported missing.
