Silver Alert Success Story: 78-year-old Maryland man found in Pennsylvania

On September 24, 2011 a Silver Alert was issued for 78-year-old John Condayan. Condayan went missing in Clarksville, Maryland and was found safe more than 100 miles away in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania


ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — A missing 78-year-old Howard Countyman is safe, albeit several dozens of miles away, after a crash, police said.

 County police had issued a Silver Alert after the disappearance of John Condayan, of Ellicott City. He was last seen heading east on Route 32 in the Clarksville area, possibly to his home in Ellicott City.

Police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn told WBAL-TV 11 News Condayan was found Saturday afternoon in Harrisburg, Pa., after a minor collision that left him disoriented. Conadyan was uninjured.
