Silver Alert Success Story: 87-year old West Virginia man found in Illinois
On November 27, 2011, a Silver Alert was issued for 87-year-old Warren Eugene Poling. Poling went missing in Grafton, West Virginia and was later found safe 575 miles away in Greenville, Illinois.

GRAFTON, W.Va. — An elderly Taylor County man missing since Saturday has been located and is on his way back to West Virginia.
Warren Eugene Poling, 87, has been missing since the weekend, when he called his brother and landlord to tell them he was going to Benton, Ark. Poling suffers from dementia and requires medication for his condition.
Officials for the West Virginia State Police said this morning that Poling has been located in Greenville, Ill. He is with his caretaker and on his way back to West Virginia.
A Silver Alert announcement for Poling has been canceled, State Police said.
