On August 7, 2013, a Silver Alert was issued for 84-year-old Eldridge Gene Stirling. Stirling went missing in Harrisburg, Arkansas and was later found safe 150 miles away in Corinth, Mississippi.

Authorities have canceled a Sliver Alert for 84-year-old Eldridge Gene Stirling after he was located at a convenience store, according to Harrisburg Police Chief Gary Hefner.
The Harrisburg resident was found safe at a convenience store in Corinth, Mississippi.
Corinth is about two and half hours away from Harrisburg.
According to Arkansas State Police, Stirling went missing from Harrisburg around 10:30 a.m.
A Silver Alert was then issued by Arkansas State Police on Wednesday night.
