Silver Alert Success Story: 50-year-old Georgia woman found in Florida

On October 9, 2013, a Silver Alert was issued for 50-year-old Elizabeth “Betty” Jenkins. Jenkins went missing in Auburn, Georgia and was later found safe 300 miles away in Tallahassee, Florida.
From the news story in the Gwinnett Daily Post:
An Auburn woman missing since Sunday has been found. Elizabeth “Betty” Jenkins Burnam, 50, was located in Tallahassee, Fla., and is in critical condition, her sister, Jayne Madigan said.
“Miracles do happen,” Madigan said, “thanks to the incredible work of Lieutenant Michael Fugett and the City of Auburn Police Department.”
