Silver Alert Success Story: 85-year-old Tennessee man found in Missouri
On October 16, 2014, a Silver Alert was issued for 85-year-old Earl Ferari. Ferari missing in Franklin, Tennessee and was later found safe in Cape Girardeau, Missouri after a journey of 470 miles through Tennessee and Arkansas.

A missing elderly man from Franklin was found safe in Scott County, Missouri Friday evening.
Earl Ferari, 85, had been missing since Thursday at 1:30 p.m. He went to pick up a food donation at the First Presbyterian Church at 101 Legends Club Lane, but he never made it to a local group home where he was to deliver the meals.
Ferari has made weekly deliveries to the facility for at risk boys for the past two years. The location is 15 minutes away from the church.
The Franklin Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Ferari around 9 p.m.
He was later spotted at 2 a.m. in Rossville in Fayette County, and his credit card was used at 3:30 am at a market on Redwood Boulevard in Jonesboro, Ark.
Around Noon Friday Ferari was captured on video getting gas in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Authorities eventually found him safe in Scott County, Missouri. A state trooper pulled him over around 6 p.m. near Cape Girardeau following a report of a driver going notably below the speed limit.
