On January 16, 2019, a Silver Alert issued for 76-year-old Thomas Donnelly. Donnelly went missing in Tombstone, Arizona and was found safe over 300 miles away in Texas.

The Silver Alert that was issued for a 76-year-old man dementia Wednesday has been canceled.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Thomas Donnelly was located in Texas.

Officials say he is waiting for a family member to pick him up.


Silver Alert Success Story: 83-Year-Old Kansas Man Found In Nebraska

On December 11, 2018, a Silver Alert issued for 83-year-old Jerry Stewart. Stewart went missing in Beloit, Kansas and was found safe over 50 miles away in Nebraska.

According to the news story on KSN-TV:

BELOIT, Kan. (KSNW) – Keith Shamburg, the missing Beloit man, was located safely in Nebraska. The Silver Alert has been canceled.


A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 83-year-old Beloit man.

Harold “Keith” Shamburg has not been seen since he left his home around 7 p.m. Monday.

He was driving a red 2015 Lincoln MKX with a personalized tag “LILBRD.”

Shamburg is 5’10” and weighs around 175 lbs.

He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Shamburg suffers from dementia and may be confused or disoriented.


Silver Alert Success Story: 82-Year-Old Arkansas Man Found In Missouri

On December 10, 2018, a Silver Alert was issued for 82-year-old Don Miller. Miller went missing in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and was found safe 75 miles away in Doniphan, Missouri.

According to the news story on KAIT-TV:

The Izard County Sheriff’s Department says a missing Horseshoe Bend man was found safe. Authorities searched for Don Miller of Horseshoe Bend.

Around midnight Monday, the Izard County Sheriff’s Office told Region 8 News that Don Miller, 82, was found in Doniphan, MO. A deputy was on his way to pick Miller up.

A Silver Alert was activated when he disappeared Monday after leaving his home to go to West Plains.
