August 13, 2018, a Silver Alert was issued for 71-year-old Albert Terito. Terito was reported missing from Baton Rouge and was found over 400 miles away in Luling, Texas.

Louisiana State Police has canceled a Silver Alert after a missing Baton Rouge man was found in Texas.
Troopers reported Albert Terito, 71, was located in Luling, TX, Tuesday night.
Terito was reported missing to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office on Monday, August 13. He had last been seen on Sunday at noon near East Ardenwood Drive in Baton Rouge.
Family members said Terito was incoherent when he last spoke with them around 9 a.m. Monday. The number he was calling from was listed as Love’s Truck Stop near Beaumont, TX.
Family members added Terito suffers from several medical conditions requiring daily medication. They also said he left home without any of his medications and that his judgment may have been impaired because of it.
On November 13, 2016, a Silver Alert was issued for 86-year-old Albert Caviglia. Cavaglia went missing in Tucson, Arizona and was found safe 1200 miles away in Louisiana.

A Tucson man who was reported missing over the weekend was found safe in Louisiana, police said on Monday, Nov. 14.
According to a tweet from Sgt. Kimberly Bay of the Tucson Police Department, 86-year-old Albert Caviglia is in the process of being reunited with his family.
Caviglia had last been seen Saturday night, Nov. 12, near Banner UMC. He left the hospital around 11 p.m. after visiting his wife, according to police.
After that, police learned Caviglia’s car ‘pinged’ at a Border Patrol checkpoint in El Paso, TX, at 12:15 p.m. the next day.
Sgt. Pete Dugan with Tucson Police Department said they shared the car’s information with surrounding agencies in hopes of some help and Border Patrol responded.
On April 30, 2015, a Silver Alert was issued for 53-year-old Ottis McRae. McRae went missing in Norphlet, Arkansas and was later found safe in 80 miles away in Bossier Parish, Louisiana.

Ottis Daniel McRae, 53, of Norphlet, who had been the subject of an Arkansas “Silver Alert,” has been found safe in the Bossier Parish, LA, jail.
A ground search that had been planned for McRae on Sunday morning in the Norphlet area came to a grinding halt when the Silver Alert was cancelled before dawn.
McRae was believed to have been missing since Monday but it was only since Thursday that the Silver Alert was issued.
