On April 25, 2018 a Silver Alert was issued for 91-year-old Bernard Calvin Allen. Allen went missing in Columbia, Maryland and was found safe the same day in Virginia.

UPDATE: Bernard Calvin Allen has been found safe and unharmed in Virginia, according to Howard County police.
A silver alert has been issued by police after a 91-year-old man went missing Wednesday.
Bernard Calvin Allen, of Jessup, Maryland, was last seen around 5 a.m. in the 5900 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia but may have made it as far as Springfield, Virginia, Howard County police said.
Allen is believed to be driving a red 2017 Chevy Sonic with Maryland tags 88390HD, according to police.
Police said he may be confused and is in need of time-sensitive medication. He also is said to have age-related health concerns.
As described by police, Allen is a 5-foot-9, 205-pound black male with brown eyes and gray hair and mustache. When last seen, he was wearing a brown sweater, blue checkered shirt, gray pants, baseball hat and glasses.
Anyone who sees Allen or his vehicle is asked to call 911.
On September 25, 2015, a Silver Alert was issued for 68-year-old Maureen Elizabeth Fisher. Fisher went missing in Edgewater, Maryland and was later found safe 60 miles away in Delaware.

Authorities say the Silver Alert for Ms. Maureen Elizabeth Fisher from Anne Arundel County has been cancelled. She has been located unharmed in Delaware.
WASHINGTON– Maryland State Police have issued a silver alert for a missing Anne Arundel County woman.
Maureen Elizabeth Fisher, 68, was last seen around 6 p.m. on Friday in the 1600 block of Havre De Grace Drive in Edgewater, Md.
Fisher is described as a 5’5″ white woman with white hair. Her eye color and clothing are unknown at this time.
Fisher’s car is a 2000 green Honda Civic with Maryland plates.
On January 4, 2012, a Silver Alert was issued for 76-year-old John Holiday Hawkins. Hawkins went missing in Temple Hills, Maryland and was found safe 240 miles away at a Wal-Mart in West Virginia.

John Holiday Hawkins, who left his home in Temple Hills Tuesday evening, was found at a Wal-Mart in West Virginia at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Hawkins, 76, originally drove from his home, located along the 2400 block of 26th Avenue in Temple Hills, to take a family member to the Naylor Road Metro Station.
