RAYTOWN, Mo. — An endangered Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 76-year-old woman with early onset dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Evelyn Hansen left Taftville, Connecticut, on Sunday en route for Raytown, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the alert Monday after Hansen didn’t arrive in Raytown as expected.
MSHP said her cellphone last pinged Monday night in the area of New Castle, Pennsylvania.
Hansen is described as 5-foot-3, weighing 190 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was driving a tan 2005 Chevy Colorado with the Connecticut license plate C137015.
On March 11, 2018, a Silver Alert issued for 83-year-old Stephen Brown. Brown went missing in St. Charles, Missouri and was found safe 837 miles away in Newport, Florida.

Stephen R. Brown was found Monday sitting in a parked car 837 miles from his home in St. Charles, Missouri, and about 65 miles from his destination — Apalachicola.
He was healthy but appeared confused, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, who found Brown sitting in a Hyundai Tucson near the St. Marks River bridge in Newport.
A Silver Alert was issued for the 83-year-old in St. Charles at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday.
On April 28, 2017, a Silver Alert issued for 80-year-old Lawrence Wayne Williams. Williams went missing in Bentonville, Arkansas and was found safe over 70 miles away in Carthage, Missouri.

BENTONVILLE — Bentonville police are requesting information concerning a 80-year-old man who left his home Thursday and never returned.
Lawrence Wayne Williams, 80, left his home sometime before noon to run errands, according to a news release from the Bentonville Police Department.
Williams suffers from dementia and answers to his middle name Wayne, according to the release. Williams was last seen wearing gray jeans, a long sleeve red shirt with black stripes and cowboy boots, according the release.
