On March 12, 2016, a Silver Alert was issued for 77-year-old Sonja Carte. Carte went missing in Huntington, West Virginia, and was later found safe 40 miles away in Wheelersburg, Ohio.

An elderly woman who went missing out of Huntington yesterday was found by police, her caretaker Donna Sites told WSAZ.
Sites said 77 year-old Sonja Carte was taken to the hospital for evaluation after officers found her in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
A neighbor told WSAZ Carte, or “Jackie,” has friends in Sandusky and was probably on her way to see them. She said Carte has taken off before but usually just down the road.
Sites said Carte’s suffers from dementia and probably got confused along the drive.
On October 1, 2015, a Silver Alert was issued for 78-year-old Wayne Kreft. Kreft went missing in Monroe, Wisconsin and was found 170 miles away in Hobart, Indiana.

A 78-year old Monroe man who was reported missing late Thursday afternoon was found a few hours later, more than 170-miles away in Indiana.
At about 7:50 p.m, authorities in Hobart, Indiana contacted the Green County sheriff’s department, which had issued a Silver Alert for Wayne P. Kreft about an hour earlier.
Hobart police say Kreft had been in a car crash, but was not hurt.
Authorities contacted Kreft’s family and they will bring him back home.
On September 23, 2015, a Silver Alert was issued for 80-year old Jeannine Bergeron. Bergeron went missing in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and was found safe 35 miles away in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Police say 80-year-old Jeannine Bergeron was found safely in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, which is about 35 miles away from Woonsocket.
Bergeron was reported missing Wednesday afternoon. She had been last seen driving on Social Street, and was on her way to meet a relative in Johnston.
